Android: Setting up Storm Shield on an Android Device

Once you install the app, please follow the below instructions to set up Storm Shield.


Tap 'Use Current Location' to allow the app to track where you always are.  Note, you do not have to do this, however, this will allow you to receive alerts for your current location as you move or travel.

Here you must hit 'Allow' if you want current location enabled.

Select the weather provider here that shows up.  This is where your local forecast information will come from.

If you did not select Current Location upon installation you can ap the arrow in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen to enable current location. When the arrow is filled in as it is right now, it means that your current location is on.

To add a location, click on the circled icon below.

Click on the '+' sign in the upper right-hand corner.

Add in your preferred saved location.  You can add as many locations as you would like.

To see the 7-day or hourly forecasts, all you need to do is tap on one of the pins.

You will see a screen pop up from the bottom of the device. Scroll down.
