Here are some common troubleshooting steps you can also take before reaching out to the station:
Perform a double rescan, to clear the memory of your Digital TV or Converter Box and improve signal reception. Follow these steps:
- Disconnect the antenna from your Digital TV or Converter Box.
- Rescan without the antenna connected. (Follow on-screen instructions or refer to your device's owner’s manual.)
- Unplug the Digital TV or Converter Box from the electrical outlet for one minute.
- Reconnect the antenna to the Digital TV or Converter Box and plug the unit back into the electrical outlet.
- Rescan your Digital TV or Converter Box one more time.
If problems persist, check your antenna connections, ensure the antenna is positioning correctly for optimal reception, and consider consulting your device’s manual. For optimal reception, try repositioning your antenna to a higher location, away from obstructions, or adjusting its direction toward the broadcast towers for better reception.
